Animal Week is an article with information about a particular animal that is held once a month.
This month the animal is the "Golden Lion Tamarin" (Leontopithecus rosalia)
The Golden Lion Tamarin is a monkey that lives in Brazil.The size of their territory is on a average of 1.23 km² but sadly the Golden Lion Tamarin is endangered.Predators of this species of tamarin is:
Poachers
Nocturnal animals (eg. snakes, wild cats and rats )
Size:
Head and body, 7.5 to 8.75 in (19 to 22 cm); Tail, 10.25 to 13.5 in (26 to 34 cm)
An adult only grows to a total of 20cm!
